This regeneration project was developed during the first international Ecosystem Restoration Course (May - Dec 2020, Gaia Education) in collaboration with people of Kanyerus in West Pokot County, Kenya. This project aims to address increasing threats related to climate change, resulting in drought, severe erosion and ultimately loss of soil, and reduction in animal and human wellbeing. 
 

Centred around the BOMA, which is a community social enterprise, the project intends to educate and enlighten the local rural community. The purpose is to forge social cohesion and build resilience to drought and food scarcity by restoring degraded land and utilising natural resources sustainably.
